Its 15 july 2009.
Happyy Birthday HM. Moga panjang Umur selalu.
Perhaps someday we can find a way... to serenity.
I heard the news from mum as i have been too busy even to sleep. Her husband is an RBA pilot. ON DUTY to Jeddah at time of the hit and run. Mum's friend were all busy the day just to meet the victim's husband. IMAGINE. going back from work to find someone precious to you killed in an accident. what's more. The person to blame RAN AWAY and leave her there without even consider bringing her to the hospital. Life is short. It'll end in one way or another but this is too much. Some people saw it was a Red Lexus that hit her and ran away.
thank god it wasn't a green lexus. BUT PASS THIS ON:

Its 10 am and if you can see at any restaurants there would be MANY customers wearing working attire eating. Hmm.
And i am reading titah KDYMM in his opening speech for the majlis mesyuarat negara 1983 saying
Kejujuran. I wonder where that goes. Telling us students the future leaders to study hard and be JUJUR whereas some government officers would have been gone to ca mohd or similar restaurants to have their "minum pagi" by n0w leaving mountains of UNFINISHED or unchecked proposals that in turn leaves thousands of people waiting.
and when the same thing happens to themselves they complain that the government is slow. The government is not an independent body. Now, i don't study the government or politics but then again for me a government is made up of interdependence between ministries and ministries and made up of interdependence between departments and departments are made up of interdependance between sections and so on so forth. SO one government is made up of many people who are mostly citizens of Brunei Darussalam who works in that sector. AND we go and say unpublic that the government is slow when what we should say is "haji pulan or hajah pulan" lambat mencop borang ku" And there they are a huge part of the government is out at sumbangsih or restaurant lain makan. Macam tah canteen nada. Turun skajap minum then naik buat keraja bebalik.
You don't have to drive to any restaurants, just go to the canteen sudah- wasting your petrol, wasting the country's oil, emmitting green house gasses and when the climate changes and it rains like hell- you complain again. I mean, imagine what would happen if people really work for the sake of the country not just for the sake of preveilages of being a civil servant or for the pay check.
kejujuran. I wonder where that goes in our working population.
My name is Nur Atiqah and if i have said anything wrong or sensitive i am not scared. What i say is what i think and i don't think what i think is wrong, right? might as well post this at brudirect and let the whole working population bash me.
Apparently, while i was in my room doing something for my blog, i didn't expect a huge part of brunei are in havoc due to the rain. First of all, a huge part of the district is in blackout so even the residence of byl, sahlan and i guess dibah too is in black out (hence no updates. padantah batah ku nuggu update drg) My brother went back home today early because there is no electricity at all at pggmb sungai akar school. And according to mum, the traffic lights too did not work. i have no idea if there is electricity now in their residence however just an hour ago we went to batu (something-yg aku nda pandai ingat dakat gadong atu) and every workers was sitting outside and their shops have no electricity at all.
And now i just saw the pictures in rano about the beloved tunnel (because you don't need to use the big 3 lane roundabout) flooded. And hear from the news that a 19 year old passed away of drowning last night and some one also passed away due to landslides damaging the walls of their homes. Honestly i was out yesterday with the two dudes. and yeah i went back around 10 because the rain was getting heavier.
And the sky we saw just now has a shades of purple. I hope it won't be as terrible tonight. We have to send my brother to tuition around the flood prone areas of menglait.
ps- i joined a club. i hope it'll be a more relaxing club =) and fun. I was thinking of making my own club ahaha but i don't think anyone would want to join it craftwork club anyone? =pp
my mind is thinking about.....hmm
