Sometimes we tend to speed off track editted.

Sometimes we speed off track, just because we are too passionate with what we are doing. I understand so just a gentle reminder to everyone i know..

One doesn't lead by ordering others what to do or by doing it oneself. One leads when one understands that there's a team that one can cooperate with.

My blog is almost dead but i know some friends who are overseas but not to dissapoint you, i brought my lappy almost everyday now since there is no internet at home but there is internet at UBD. I'll blog once i a while but if you really want to know what i am up to... read others blog or uvcvolunteers.blogspot.com. (its still under construction so SZ privatised it)

To people who are overseas, Uk, China, New zealand anywhere, we the UBDians are proud of our Dj Ben!! So now you can be too... listen to Dj Ben online UBDfm Tune in to 107.9fm go to http://etc.ucoz.com to listen to Ben live!

Many events are up for this october. Green project is coming. So does raya festival, UBD's got talent and Pesta Convo, Kursus kepimpinan lead by exco KEPAL and not to mention the little baby steps of our UBD's Voluntary and Charity Club. So lets cooperate, shall we?

3 over 10 day.

You if you ask me what date it is, i have no idea. I know what i have to do the day after any day, not by counting days, but by counting practicals and when the report is due. Bause it seems like, most of my time is spent doing just that! One month and a half is not that far away. Before we know it, it'll be exam week.

Note to self: Study animal by hard!

I just can't seem to put any hope on my practicals and course works for animal. Huhu. Todays shark dissection was very upsetting. Only 2 passed today's dissection, and i am not one of them. Need to try to atleast get marks for next dissection: lizard. I heard from some seniors that sometimes, when you cut the lizard open, you can see its heart beating (because its freshly caught and kena pengsan kan saja) Oh and reminder to genetics students, yes we do have genetics practical this week.

So people...how did your week go?

A constant struggle.

I need to STOP working at the very last minute like i used to. But everytime i want to do so, i failed at it. Hmm. This week is crammed with tests and other biology-related workload. Monday- Cell bio test. Tuesday- animal phylo test. Wednesday- hanyu test. Thursday animal phylo practical, maths test and cell bio presentation. Saturday- genetics practical and due for report. Hmm. Don't ask about the test, i totally left some questions blank. And the snail dissection is URGH. i did my best and yet he gave a just-pass mark because i TWISTED the body or something. I am terrible at dissection.

Ramadhan's going fast. I am not ready for it. First day of Syawal, in my case, needs a lot of pshycological preperation. Life is a constant struggle. Thank god we're not going through it all alone

But someone somewhere.. are really struggling on their own. I have been reading Women from shanghai, a book i brought from Hongkong a few weeks ago. I seldom read books you know that. But this story captured my interest. Its a historical account of people who survived jiabiangou ; It mentioned about how people in Jiabiangou reeducation camp (during the era of Mao) were wrongly accused, sent there and died of hunger. Some resort to eating undigested food from horse's dung. Some even resort to cutting flesh from rotting corpses of their fellow mates. The true story about this have been covered up bu fake medical records. Jiabiangou is gone, but it should have taught the world a few lessons.

One lesson- someone somewhere in this world have only little to survive on. Even until now, fasting is their constant regime. If you don't have money to help, you still have prayers. Love food. Don't waste.

salam. I hope our last days of ramadhan will be a wonderful one. Till we meet again.

Flying high. to the sky (but i need to finish my exam first)

I can't be seperated with my old habit of being a last minute person. And my favourite past time: The television. Haha i finished, kami no shizuku, the japanese drama in three nights. Kamenashi Kazuya is seriously HOT there i think its because he gained a bit of weight. i just borrowed "Painter of the Wind" which i started watching last night while trying to stay awake and start doing my slides for geo presentation today.

I really did feel like crying this morning, two hours before my human geo presentation because i was far from finshing my slides at that time. I did a power research last night- all in one night. I drank black coffee and i wasn't suppose to sleep, but i did, at 3am. I was really mad at myself for spending 3 dollars on an americano that cannot keep me awake the whole morning But all and all, i went through it anyway. So Alhamdulilah.

Not to mention the Logo which we did a lot of last minute touching up on the day of submission but hantar saja tia. And biology report which for the first time, i slept only for an hour. HAHA. But mamam beat me to it- he did not slept at all just to create their (bitch) pretty logo animation. All because we saw this (bitch) amazing animation the day before submission. But nvm. Now all is left is ONE week, two reports, and two tests.

and yeah. Second semester Exam. All in one bloody week.

After that, i'll be back to my skyhigh passion. I might fly a bit and go out a bit. Perhaps, that might be before and/or after Patoi. Yes, i do mean fly. Like suparman. because i did facebook quiz and i got superman for two different quiz (irrelevant)

Hmm maths. I worry maths. Because i've got no idea if its possible to pass this. Someone need to teach me. Malam. Its a friday tommorow. If its confirmed, we have our usual makan luar session but this time..at charcoal. And i want to watch painter of the wind now. I don't know when will be my next post since it really near exam. So

Wish me marks.

Salam

Kembali ke pangkal jalan.

kepada orang di luar negeri. Si Tiqah mau POSKAD. And it should start with:

"Kepada Saudari yang di rindui,
Apa khabar saudari disana? Saya harap saudari baik baik saja. Saya sihat. Cuaca di sini......."

Like i said to two people, write it in a way that it'd make us meremang bulu dada (if ada pun bulu, mun nada bulu lain saja). It might sound a bit old fashioned and funny but hey... we all need to look back to where we start. When we are moving so fast- one step behind time, we should stop for a bit and try to recall where we started. For when you are lost, just go back to the start and start all over again. This was where we begin remember? Our malay teacher in primary schools would asked us to write a letter that starts like this and we would do funny sentences but with the upmost politeness.

Di mana silapnya kita? Apabila kita berlari pantas mengejar waktu, di manakah hilangnya rasa hormat dan kesopanan pada bahasa? Di manakah tertinggalnya jiwa yang mengenang budi?

It was right what they say: Sesat di hujung jalan, kembali kepangkal jalan. Just five minutes. Think about your past. Go back to basics once in a while. It'll be surprising to know that it'll surely bring a little bit of relief to someone.

Question/thoughts for the week: Can you really say a person is happy just with a smile? Or is happiness far than that. Perhaps for people smiling is just a manifestation of happiness. But how true is manifestations in proving what it needs to prove? It may fool you. So now, can you say a person is happy from a smile?

Now. Back to catching time. Works are falling from the sky more than rain does this month. SO salam.

TC is not a pure abjad. Its a complex abjad.

Hmm. First of all, the ubd staff had meetings and decided to cancel the decision of taking out 700+ of the first years for national day. That a yay because we won't miss out on studies (wow i said that like a nerd. But yeah if you're in university, you'll know why every hour of a course counts.

My mood is still not well. I had my first slap of dissapointment today despite telling my self over and over again that it's fine. The maths test result were out and i'd hoped for a miracle so i would do really well but i didn't. And i am traumatic of my maths coursework result last semester (i did mention that i failed my maths coursework last semester though the final results turn out okay) and i intend to try so hard and atleast get pass my coursework this time. That'll ease the pressure of passing maths in the exam if i get higher for my course work.

I guess i'll have to try again.

And this is the third time we have no human geography class at all! so that makes this week geography-less. I am missing those human-environment interactions. I mean.. if i took french i'd have 4 classes per week already! Sorry but it upsets me. I mean, i think we're falling behind schedule here. I want our classes. Gila i do sound like a nerd but lectures are fun. LC is not.

Until then. I have to do what i am supposed to do. Do all those work i procrastinate. (like reading twilight yang balum maju. i know~ balum begarak the page. and its not even 1/3 of the book and learning LOGO)

School starts. and i am going crazy.

First of all, i'd like to apologise neglecting the CB (i have not read my tags =p) but my resolution numero uno is to achieve something i can be proud of this year and that requires me to do the stuff i had been procrastinating like this one craft work that i have been procrastinating since middle of last year. Lets just say, i enjoy doing those things. i always have and not many people knew i had this hobby. I have finished 3 boxset of Taiwanese and Japanese Drama while doing my craftswork every night/morning and i am 3/4 done. weeee =D

I have been upset lately mostly because i have lost my motivation to study here. The results were out and i have done better than i expect. Alhamdulillah. Its always better than i expect..i guess ben was right when he said just before our exam starts last year, that i lack the confidence. and like Byl always said "ya andang selalu" i worry to much with the little details. I am a perfectionist so i will sulk and get terribly frustrated when i didn't do even the little details well. And honestly, i cramped everything to the very last minute and that is why i didn't expect it to turn out that way. i even thought of changing course if it turns out bad. (i knoww. overdose wah my worries atu) So resolution nemero dos, try to be rajin and nerdify myself and no last minute cramping. I want to achieve something with my effort not luck. NO more good luck. Its good marks okay.

Thirdly, sorrry for the late oscar-speech for sahlan. I promised a speech if i passed maths and i got a C. i know a C is still not a B or an A but when i said i am not confident with my maths i wasn't kidding. Honestly, i failed my course work. Got only 30+ % out of 100 for my maths test and from that to a C, that... i think would be my greatest achievement in ubd yet. Because i spent my one week of revision week studying maths from scratch (thanks to not listening and doodling/eating in maths lectures and never done my tutorials). And thanks to sahlan and Hanis guidance who knew how terrible i was in that one week of starting MA1101 from scratch i.e sets to vectors. i passed. BUT I WILL MAKE A PROPER SPEECH AS PROMISED TO SAHLAN later.

resolution numero tres, finish practicals! HAHA. I knowwwww. I never did finished everything since form 5. I guess its time to change that right?

and finally school starts today and tuesday is my new monday. I just looked at my timetable (see i told you i am not ready for school) I have a stretch of subjects starting with two hours human geography two hours of MIB and an hour of biology from 8 am to 1 pm. then at 2pm until 5pm there's MIB (again) and Computer programming. Shat.

owwwh GOLDEN GLOBE. LEONARDOOOO DICAPRIO!

ps- Laps my adik who can read me. =) i knowww. I am sooo faking emo but yeah i guess i still am. you are the greatest google dude.

I don't need luck. I need marks.

This is me saying that i will go on hiatus but i'd never really get the hang of being-on-hiatus.

As i've said, yesterday WAS monday.
And next week. It'll be another monday.

yikes. (i am repeating my self like there is nothing else to do)

Soooo... i am trying my best not to blog crappies again until the 6th of December. Or make it the 7th of Dec. Because my last exam is on the 6th and i think i'll spent the time after that sleeping. Or watching movies (leonardo body of lies =D ) I will post short posts once in a while for upcoming birthdays.

Don't wish me good luck. I don't need luck. I need marks. So wish me GOOD MARKS instead. amin.

The Call (Narnia Soundtrack).MP3 - Regina Spektor

It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word

And then that word grew louder and louder
Til it was a battle cry

I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye

Just because everything's changing
Doesn't mean it's never
Been this way before

All you can do is try to know
Who your friends are
As you head off to the war

Pick a star on the dark horizon
And follow the light

You'll come back
When it's over
No need to say good bye

You'll come back
When it's over
No need to say good bye..

Now we're back to the beginning
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can't feel it too
Doesn't mean that you have to forget

Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
Til they're before your eyes

You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say good bye

You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say good bye..

Good marks to me. Good marks to you. Good marks peeps. Salam. Love.

Baik kaka belajar.....$50 apek tu.

Its quite tempting to blog since the winning of Obama there are funny stories to tell from my brother going back home from school with marker on his arm saying ' vote for obama' to some other things.

But i have been using my brother's printer ink (which he bought himself and its quite expensive) and he added a few dollars for my new study lamp he went on 'baik kaka belajar. ink apek tu'. or 'baik kaka dapat tinggi markah. duit apek tu pakai bali lampu ah'

so i guess. i should sleep late again and study. ahaa, since. aku kena suruh belajar kan. ya membayarkan ink and lampu (elaun ku alum kuar bah beb)

Benar2 mendiamkan diri.

No more waking up to misscalls or 11 am alarms.

Now a proper post.. it might be late for me to say this but

Congratulations.
To everyone who were able to further their studies.
To those who can't.. don't give up. Never giver up. Your time will come.God must have something else in store for you.

Hmm. I know you'd find it funny or weird for not posting any congratulatory posts before or brag especially about my besties. Honestly 'Congratulations' is really a difficult word. I know... kalau ku cakap ada tu yang kesayuan. So i'd rather not post anything or upload any pictures or newspaper articles. They know better than anyone else of how i feel for them and how proud i am so that is more than enough.

And as for me... lets just say i am most probably staying here. And i am quite happy to stay. Because when the people i will miss so much are in UK, China, NZ and Aussie...i want to be here at the centre. Besides... i've planned a long list of things-to-do while studying at UBD already. And alhamdulilah. I got the course i want.

If you're wondering, of course i am jealous that they get to study abroad. and how cool their career would turn out to be. i am only human. full of envy. It keeps on playing in my mind. kesana kemari dh ku membawa rasa. kena bwa g kepantai apa. haha merapu saja ne mulutku the whole week. kalau inda merapu..berdiam. but then ntah sekusut mana pikiran sitiqah.. all i could think of is to be is close to everybody so...

BAH in conclusion. Si tiqah sayang kamu. and proud of everyone. hehe. Yes. blajar! No more waking up to misscalls or 11 am alarms.
